PRODUCTION PROCESS AND SUSTAINABILITY
- Each solid wood slab is milled in a sustainable way using salvaged or reclaimed wood
- All of our wood products are properly kiln dried to prevent future cracking or warpage.
- Any holes or voids in the wood slab will be filled with black epoxy/resin.
- All tables are finished in a standard matte finish without any stain. We like to enhance the inherent nature of the wood itself which stain diminishes and masks.

THIS TABLE’S JOURNEY
This one-of-a-kind dining table showcases the remarkable beauty of a single, uninterrupted black walnut live edge slab, carefully sourced from sustainably harvested or repurposed timber.

The tree that this slab was milled from was destined for the wood chipper after it fell in the backyard of a native Chicagoan. Upon finding out of the fate of the fallen tree we purchased this tree knowing it’s inner hidden potential.

The tree was milled into slabs, slabs were air dried until 15% moisture content and then placed into the kiln to get the desired 6-8% moisture content.

The live edge design reveals the organic contours and unique imperfections that tell a tale of the wood's past, while the deep, lustrous tones of the heart wood add an air of sophistication.

Handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail, each knot, grain pattern, and fissure on the tabletop has been thoughtfully preserved, ensuring that no two tables are alike.
